And for people who've taken the test already, what do you guys think? Do you think this is fairly accurate? Where did you get that calculation from, just curious. Are you saying that if someone is scoring say 60% on uworld thay would get a 228 on Step 1. (I have seen people scoring 185 & 260 with the UW score of 57% for both) It's a great preparation tool, not so good a predictor. Concentrate on the beauty of the content (Qs and Explanations both). The score has no meaning unless it's a confidence booster. One advise: Never look at your score while doing UW. (by the way for me UW prediction was quite closer than NBME.) The best predictor ( that too not so reliable) out there is NBME i think. It's right with very high variability depending upon when you took UW, did you do it subjectwise or mixed? Timed or untimed? etc.
